Quality assurance and control form the backbone of the excellence that GRW is known for. We believe that excellence is a commitment to produce, deliver, test and verify products consistently and to this end all company functions are executed in accordance with our quality assurance system.
Including standard operating procedures, change control, test and release procedures, audits and staff training, our quality assurance and control system is prominent throughout the entire manufacturing process – from goods receiving to final inspection and sign-off.
The system forms the basis of our consistent meeting of legal and regulatory requirements, but also of our belief in exceeding customers’ expectations.
This is achieved by strict adherence to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and the ISO 3834 (Part 2) system that assures quality in welding. GRW Engineering is the ninth company in South Africa to achieve this certification.

A nominated third party inspection body ensures code compliance by witnessing, reviewing and signing off all quality control plans and test certificates. All quality control and third party documentation is scanned to CD and included in the customer’s final documentation.
